In the past couple of months I’ve been working on releasing an album for new music for saxophones (only saxophones!) together with Noam Dorembus and the amazing Kerem Ensemble: Eli Korman, Maayan James and Kim Kedar.
We started a Head-Start campaign (similar to the more known GoFundMe idea) to raise funds so we can pay for professional recordings, studio hours and of course the label company. We’ll be delighted if you could support our campaign – there are some really cool gifts to choose from like very cheap composition lessons with me (online!), cool rare recordings of Noam playing some old pieces and an amazing workshop on the saxophone as a leading instrument in the development of New Music. Please be aware that since the website for the campaign originates in Israel the donations are made in NIS. Here's a snipet from a cool piece we did a couple of years ago: composition: Dorone Paris, Art: Shahd Zoubi, Saxophones: Noam Dorembus, Eli Korman and Jonathan Chazan: click here
